This week, we read this book again and we were busy! P7 did some drama with us, we made houses out of stickle bricks for the bears and we made masks! After the story someone said what about using our den in the woods? So that’s what we did! We read the story in the woods and we played around our own house. Finally, we tried porridge to eat! We added honey because bears like honey too! Everyone was interested in this book “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.

This week, we have been busy thinking about the Queen. Our topic is “Family” just now and we have looked at her family tree. We’ve learned words such as “Mother”, “Father”, “Brother” and “Sister”. We made a plan for a small party to have at the end of the week. We made our own crowns, we made flags and we made a list of what food we would eat. Good Fun!
Also, we read “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”. We are going to keep this book for next week and we will use our house that we built in the woods to act out the story as one of the children suggested. Family is our topic we would like to make a tree with everyone’s family pictures in the class. If you would like, may we receive family pictures you may have to create this display?
We hope you all have a lovely long weekend! 🙂
